Ikamva Architects was founded in 2000 as an affirmative architectural practice by Zuko O’Bose and Johan de Beer. “Ikamva” means “future”, which is indicative of the vision of the practice. The architects in our company collectively have more than 80 years’ experience working across a wide range of disciplines and for clients representing the following sectors: commercial, retail, leisure, residential, industrial, health, municipal, institutional, agricultural and civil. Ikamva Architects has offices in George and Paarl in the Western Cape, Queenstown, and East London in the Eastern Cape, as well as Kokstad in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Each office is headed by a director, who is also a registered professional architect. Our practice is up to date with various Computer Aided Design Systems and Project Management Systems to provide the best value to our clients. We utilize Autodesk Revit 3D (CAD), Autodesk BIM 360 design, Autodesk Autocad and Lumion in which all staff has received certified training.
