The proposed administration alteration and addition project focuses on revitalizing the existing facility through a refined architectural language and an expanded spatial program. At the heart of the interior redesign is a modernized Council Chamber, configured with new desks and a tiered public gallery. The architectural identity of the new additions and ground-floor extension is defined by the new vertical fins that are deliberately juxtaposed against the existing stone cladding to create a dynamic visual hierarchy. Spatial functionality is improved across the site through accessible ramped entryways, concrete walkways, and custom concrete and timber seating nodes set within rejuvenated landscaped gardens and lawns. Beyond providing 441.80m² of renovated office and administrative space alongside 144.70m² of building additions, the design incorporates a structural balcony extension, intentionally capped with a heavy concrete roof slab to allow seamless vertical expansion for additional municipal accommodation in the future.
