Project Description:

The Museum Complex incorporates: Main Building (Sayers Art Gallery and Auditorium, Old Building and Administrative Wing), Forestry Museum, Butterfly House, Workshop. The Museum is a Heritage Building (Old Building was completed in 1815) and is very prominent from York Street. Therefore, all repair and maintenance work is to match the existing and all fire compliance work should have as little impact on the original design as possible. Original main entrance from York Street and carpark from the South is also being upgraded and reinstated.
